3 step process: 1.Recruiter telephone call - 30 min - super uncomplicated telephone call with a recruiter. They desire to know your experience and what you're looking for in a position. 2. Technical Screen - 1 hour- interview with a senior engineer. Ordinarily there is a live coding session, simply mine did not. A very nice interview process. In the terminate, I was not the company'due south top choice. And, I can accept that. Feedback for the Talent Conquering Team: In one case you've established rapport with a candidate, it's a bit common cold and impersonal to send a standard "thank you, but no thank you" email from the "no-reply" Zillow email. Really? Y'all tin can do better! In my day as a recruiter, nosotros had the decency to call the candidate personally. Heck, I had to telephone call candidates personally when they didn't pass their drug examination. UPDATE: I shared this feedback with the recruiter, and she said, "Thank you lot! I'll laissez passer forth the feedback. Best of luck!" Wow! This tells me Zillow treats their candidates as numbers, metrics, and non people. Worth considering before you interview!

Had a technical round initially with a Principal engineer.
